Unfinished Business is a California Central Coast band initially formed in 2003 with the idea of specializing in the authentic performance of what is arguably the best music of all time: 1960s rock 'n' roll. The members of Unfinished Business- David Hollister on drums, Jim Witt on bass and vocals, Ben Davis on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Ed Miller on lead guitar and vocals- all played in different local bands in California, unknown to one another, during the '60s. Although the muse was constantly whispering in their collective ears, they all eventually set their music careers aside to pursue "real jobs" and raise families.
Well, the '60s are now long gone, but the members of Unfinished Business still have a passion for the music of that era and their "unfinished business" is to pick up where they all left off "way back when" by playing in a band again and performing the hits of the '60s by the great artists of the era, ranging from The Animals to The Zombies and including The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, and various Motown artists. Long live '60s rock 'n' roll!

The Mother Corn Shuckers were grown on the Central Coast of California in 2009. They sprouted out as a music jam around a smoky fire pit on wednesday nights. Various people would come by for a little music playing and drinkin’ to get through the rest of the work week. When asked to play their first gig The Mother Corn Shuckers began to grow as a 4-5 piece band.
Original Members Che Miller, Mark Hughes, and Jeff Pienack began writing originals and began fertilizing the Corn Shuckers by adding Kurt Michels, and Lillian & Chris Dennis. Then they continued shuckin’ around playing regular gigs and harvested another CD titled “Beergrass”. Later some more corn seeds sprouted in Greg Steers & Mark Travis.
Lets see where the corn will grow next… Keep on Shuckin’ on.

COME EARLY- Opening Act will Be "YNANA ROSE" starting at 2pm
To the Damon Castillo Band, Laurel Lane is more than a studio on a street near some old train tracks in the hills of San Luis Obispo, California. It is home. Strewn with vintage amps, tattered couches, and recording equipment bought piece-meal over the last five years, it is the hearth that has beckoned, soothed, and housed the band through life's many ups and downs. Like the place that has been described as everything from a boxing ring, to a church, to a hideout, the highly anticipated new album, Laurel Lane, is an emotional autobiography that contains a band's long history within its walls.
It was clear from the beginning that their path is not an ordinary one. Combining the talent of Kristian Ducharme on keys, Jennings Jacobsen on drums, and Larry Kim on saxophone with Damon’s prolific songwriting, vocals, and guitar chops, the band creates a sound that is a statement among this day of manufactured music. Each member is a master-musician with a diverse past playing jazz, funk, rock, and soul. Their prowess comes through on every note, dynamically punctuating Damon’s soulful lyrics, at times mournful, and often larger than life.
Opening the afternoon from 2:00 - 3:00 will be an All Star Blues Jam
featuring artists who regularly attend SLO County's weekly blues jams
hosted by Love Live Music Productions. There are two well-attended open
jams per week at each end of the County in which players and singers from
all skill levels come together to network and enjoy free-style playing and
dancing. These are excellent venues to dust off your instruments, work on
those blues licks and lyrics, or just come to dance and be part of the
creative energy and fun!
BACK BAY BETTY is an energetic five piece dance band from Morro Bay, CA
that has a diverse rock/blues/soul repertoire including many originals. The
group's members are Baywood Park’s very own Linda Martin on keyboard and
vocals, Casey Rodgers on lead guitar and vocals, Johnny Johnson on
harmonica and vocals, Mark Notzka on bass guitar and Carl Dybowsk on drums.
They cover tunes by artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The
Rolling Stones, Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Lang, Muddy Waters, Norah Jones,
T-Bone Walker, Etta James, Paul Butterfield, Heart, Delbert McClinton and
many others that you won't hear covered by other bands. Back Bay Betty
delivers their originals, classics and funky blues for your dancin’ shoes
at venues all over San Luis Obispo County. Their dynamic energy on stage is
infectious and is guaranteed to get everyone out of their seats on onto the
green. Visit them at www.backbaybetty.com and on Facebook.

Maria Muldaur is best known world-wide for her 1974 mega-hit “Midnight at the Oasis,”which received several Grammy nominations, and enshrined her forever in the hearts of Baby Boomers everywhere; but despite her considerable pop music success, her 50-year career could best be described a long and adventurous odyssey through the various forms of American Roots Music. During the folk revival of the early '60s, she began exploring and singing early Blues, Bluegrass and Appalachian “Old Timey” Music, beginning her recording career in 1963 with the Even Dozen Jug Band and shortly thereafter, joining the very popular Jim Kweskin Jug Band, touring and recording with them throughout the '60s.
In the 40 years since “Midnight at the Oasis,” Maria has toured extensively worldwide and has recorded 40 solo albums covering all kinds of American Roots Music, including Gospel, R&B, Jazz and Big Band (not to mention several award-winning children’s albums). She has now settled comfortably into her favorite idiom, the Blues. Often joining forces with some of the top names in the business, Maria has recorded and produced on-average an album per year, several of which have been nominated for Grammies and other awards.
Her critically acclaimed 2001 Stony Plain Records release, Richland Woman Blues, was nominated for a Grammy and by the Blues Foundation as Best Traditional Blues Album of the Year, as was the follow up to that album, Sweet Lovin’ Ol’ Soul. Her timely 2008 album, Yes We Can!, featured her “Women’s Voices for Peace Choir,” which includes: Bonnie Raitt, Joan, Baez, Jane Fonda, Odetta, Phoebe Snow, Holly Near and others. In 2009 Maria teamed up with John Sebastian, David Grisman, and Dan Hicks. Maria Muldaur & Her Garden of Joy garnered Maria her 6th Grammy nomination, and was also nominated for Best Traditional Blues Album of the Year by The Blues Foundation.
In 2011 Maria released Steady Love, a contemporary electric Blues album that reflects the kind of music she loves to perform live - what she calls “Bluesiana Music” - her own brand of New Orleans-flavored Blues, R&B and “Swamp Funk.” Steady Love reached #1 on the Living Blues Chart, and garnered her another nomination for Best Traditional Female Blues Artist from the Blues Foundation.
In 2012, for her 40th album, Maria produced the critically acclaimed ….First Came Memphis Minnie, a loving tribute to the pioneering Blues woman who inspired and influenced so many female Blues artists who followed in her footsteps, many of whom joined Maria on this special project: Bonnie Raitt, Phoebe Snow, Ruthie Foster, Koko Taylor and Rory Block accompanied by the amazing guitar work of Del Rey, David Bromberg, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Roy Rogers, and others.
In 2013, taking a brief hiatus from her yearly recording schedule, Maria focused on 3 special collaborations, performing worldwide with the 50th Anniversary Kweskin Jug Band Reunion concerts, teaming up with the Campbell Brothers, world-renowned Sacred Steel Gospel artists, for a very special presentation entitled, “Spirit & The Blues”, and touring as Special Guest Artist with Bill Wyman and The Rhythm Kings.
2014 marks 40 years since Maria’s big hit “Midnight at the Oasis” was riding at the top of the charts. To celebrate this landmark, Maria has created a multi-media retrospective Way Past Midnight , which chronicles her 50 year journey “to the Oasis and Beyond”. This special presentation features all her hits and fan faves from every stage of her career, as well as fascinating, entertaining, (often humorous!) stories of her personal encounters, friendships, and collaborations with many of the greatest names in music.
COME EARLY - Opening Act will Be "THE NATURAL RHYTHM GROOVE" starting at 2pm

Christine Rogers is an outstanding singer / songwriter, and she will delight your ears with her songs.
Dulcie Taylor learned a hard music lesson at an early age – don’t leave your ukulele unattended in a porch chair at the beach. Some clueless teenager can sit on it and smash it to bits. The demise of her ukulele was a tough moment for ten-year-old Dulcie but that Christmas her Mother bought her a guitar and Taylor’s lifelong love of singing and songwriting began. In hindsight, a grown-up Taylor sees the smashed ukulele as something of a blessing in disguise…after all, she has shared the stage with a long and impressive list of artists, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Asleep at the Wheel, Guy Clark, John Gorka, and Kathy Mattea
Mesa/Bluemoon has released four all-original Dulcie Taylor CDs. Her latest CD, Only Worn One Time (2014) has reached No. 1 on the Americana Song Chart at Roots Music Report and is receiving high critical praise. The Midwest Record in Chicago says - “Sure fire killer stuff from a major talent.” Music from the new CD was on the GRAMMY First Round Ballot in two categories. Dulcie recently won the New Times Music Award, Best Songwriter 2014 - she also won this award in 2013. (New Times is published in San Luis Obispo, covering the Central coast of California).
